Steve and Edie will perform at Heinz Hall on July 1, but this is a different Stevie and Edie.
Pop singer Edie Brickell will join comedian/banjo player Steve Martin and the Steep Canyon Rangers on a bluegrass tour, accompanying their collaborative album, "Love Has Come for You," due April 23 on Rounder Records.
The concert will be at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $45 to $150 and go on sale at 9 a.m. Friday, Feb. 1, by calling the Heinz Hall box office at 412-392-4900, or visiting www.pittsburghsymphony.org.
