Eagles set to fly into Consol

The Eagles will make their second visit to Consol Energy Center on July 23.

Tickets go on sale March 28 at 10 a.m. via ticketmaster.com, any Ticketmaster outlet or by phone at 1-800-745-3000.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band, featuring Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmit, was last here in 2010. This tour celebrates the release of the band's Showtime documentary, "History of the Eagles."

Botti out; Kenny G in

The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra has announced that the Chris Botti PNC Pops concert scheduled in June has been postponed due to a change in the trumpet player's touring schedule.

In its place, Grammy Award-winning saxophonist Kenny G will perform with the PSO at Heinz Hall June 13-16.

The premier contemporary jazz musician is known to fuse elements of R&B, pop and Latin to a jazz background, a style that has resulted in sales of more than 75 million records worldwide and more than a dozen climbs to the top of Billboard's contemporary jazz chart.

The Seattle native has produced 23 albums across three decades. His latest, "Namaste," a collaboration with Indian santoor player Rahul Sharma, is set for release June 26.
