Idina Menzel to headline Marvin Hamlisch tribute concert at Heinz Hall

Broadway star Idina Menzel will headline in January a Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra tribute to its late Pops conductor and Hollywood legend Marvin Hamlisch.

She will join Maria Friedman, Lucie Arnaz, Robert Klein and Kevin Cole at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 29 at Heinz Hall, led by conductor J. Ernest Green. Tickets for "One Singular Sensation" are $35-$150 at 412-392-4900 or www.pittsburghsymphony.org. Proceeds from the concert will benefit the Marvin Hamlisch Pops Artistic Excellence Fund.
