If you plunked down cash (or credit card) to see "Toy Story 3," you are why the movie likely will hit the $400 million mark in North America next week.

Paul Dergarabedian from hollywood.com asks and answers the question, "How rare is the $400 million movie?" Only 10 films have hit that milestone, with six coming in the past decade, when ticket prices were higher, of course.

Here, from the box-office expert, is the list of members of the $400 million club so far, with numbers reflecting domestic gross (not worldwide) and including re-releases:

• "Avatar" -- $749.7 million.

• "Titanic" -- $600.8 million.

• "The Dark Knight" -- $533.3 million.

• "Star Wars" -- $460.9 million.

• "Shrek 2" -- $436.7 million.

• "E.T., The Extra-Terrestrial" -- $434.9 million.

• "Star Wars: Episode One -- The Phantom Menace" -- $431.1 million.

• "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest" -- $423.3 million.

• "Spider-Man" -- $403.7 million.

• "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" -- $402.1 million.

In related news, Variety reports Disney has moved the 3-D sequel to "Monsters, Inc." to Nov. 2, 2012, which puts it two weeks ahead of the just announced finale to the "Twilight" franchise on Nov. 16, 2012.

It also removed the 3-D version of "Beauty and the Beast" from the 2011 schedule and "Newt" from 2012. However, "Cars 2" is still set for June 24, with "Winnie the Pooh" July 15, 2011.

Among the galas: "Black Swan," Darren Aronofsky's psychological thriller set in the world of New York ballet and starring Natalie Portman; "Casino Jack," featuring Kevin Spacey as Jack Abramoff; Mr. Redford's "The Conspirator," set against the backdrop of President Lincoln's assassination; "The King's Speech," starring Mr. Firth as the man who would become King George VI; "The Town," a Boston-set thriller about robbers and cops directed by Ben Affleck; and "Potiche," a French film pairing Catherine Deneuve and Gerard Depardieu in a comic war between the sexes and classes.
