Are you the city's biggest Batman fan -- and can you prove it in a minute or 100 words, or less?
The winner will receive two passes from the Pittsburgh Film Office for an invitation-only showing of "The Dark Knight Rises" Wednesday at AMC-Loews. Mayor Luke Ravenstahl announced the contest Monday, adding that the winner will be invited to the proclamation filming on Thursday declaring it "Dark Knight Rises" Day in Pittsburgh.
Hopefuls can visit Facebook.com/City.of.Pittsburgh by 1 p.m. Wednesday and use the message option to submit a link to their video or write why they are the biggest Batman fans. They can also email their video or messages to DarkKnightRisesPittsburgh@gmail.com.
The top five submissions will be posted on the city's Facebook page at 2 p.m. that day. The entry with the most "likes" by 4 p.m. will be declared the winner.
Contest entrants must be City of Pittsburgh residents and 13 years of age or older. If the winning entrant is under 18 years old, he or she must agree to be accompanied by an adult to the film.
