The Post-Gazette reviews movies from a family perspective:
Rated: PG-13.
Suitable for: Teens and above.
What you should know: This is a remake of the 1990 Arnold Schwarzenegger movie of the same name. No one goes to Mars this time, and Colin Farrell plays the main character dealing with questions about identity and memory. It's set at the end of this century when the world is vastly different. It also stars Jessica Biel and Kate Beckinsale.
Language: One f-word and a regular dose of the s-word plus a half-dozen uses of profanity and sprinkling of other mild expletives.
Sexual situations and nudity: A woman flashes her chest, which has three breasts. Characters kiss.
Violence/scary situations: In addition to the frightening notion that everything Mr. Farrell's character thinks is true isn't -- including his name, history and marriage -- the movie has lots of gunfire, deadly explosions, chases, fights, crashes and injuries that draw blood, knock people out or kill.
Alcohol and drug use: A scene is set in a bar where a couple of patrons overindulge in beer.
