The Post-Gazette reviews movies from a family perspective:
Suitable for: Teens and above.
What you should know: Dwayne Johnson plays a businessman whose 18-year-old son is set up by a friend who asked him to accept delivery of a box containing drugs. He is arrested and, under mandatory minimum sentencing laws, could face 10 years or more in prison. That prompts his desperate dad, played by Mr. Johnson, to try to go undercover and deliver an even bigger felon to the feds so his son's sentence can be reduced.
Language: A half-dozen uses of profanity, a couple of uses of the n-word and at least a dozen four-letter words.
Sexual situations and nudity: A married couple passionately kiss.
Violence/scary situations: Lots, with a teenager being chased by drug agents, evidence of a jailhouse fight, a street confrontation that leaves someone bloodied on the ground, exchange of gunfire that wounds and kills, a mound of corpses being buried in a shallow grave, dangerous driving including a potentially deadly highway chase and children frightened by their parents' peril.
Alcohol and drug use: Someone is forced to sample some white powder, and bags of powder and pills are shown.
