Merry Christmas!

What, you thought we were going to be off? Don't you know gossip never takes a holiday?

So grab your eggnog and let's get to it!

Congrats to "Grey's Anatomy" star and Hollywood "It" girl Katherine Heigl, who wed her musician beau Josh Kelley in Park City, Utah, on Sunday, reports People.

Among those in attendance: Katherine's "Grey" co-stars T.R. Knight, of course, and Sandra Oh; and Kate Walsh, now starring in the "Grey's" spinoff, "Private Practice."

"It's a crapshoot," Heigl said of marriage in a Vanity Fair interview. "The odds are really bad, especially in this town. But I have a lot of faith in Josh, and I wanted to have that one day when I stand in front of my friends and my family and honor him and how important he is in my life."

Aw, that just warms our Christmas cockles.

It'll probably be Christmas every day for Halle Berry's bambino because Oprah has agreed to be the child's godmother, according to gossipista Janet Charleton.

Or maybe she'll just buy the baby books, since she said U.S. children are too materialistic and just want sneakers and iPods.

Now, once they grow up it'll be alright if they run out and buy all the stuff Miss O promotes on her favorite things show.

Since we mentioned Oprah, we'll let you know that murder suspect Phil Spector said some really nasty and, quite frankly, uncalled-for things about her and some other sisters during the funeral service for Ike Turner, reports Fox News.com's Roger Friedman, who had an inside source at the service.

Phil said Ike's contribution to music had been overshadowed by his portrayal as an abusive husband in ex-wife Tina's autobiography, "I, Tina."

And Phil puts part of the blame on Lady O because she had Tina on her show to promote the book.

"She made Tina Turner's book into a best seller, which demonized and vilified Ike," he reportedly said. "The book wouldn't have sold 10 books. It was badly written. It was a piece of trash, and because Oprah idolized Tina, she didn't feel it wrong to vilify a 'brother.' "

The music producer went on to say that other sisters had done the same thing and cited a story about Whoopi Goldberg inviting Ike to her short-lived talk show and then confronting him about Tina's attempt to jump out of a window to get away from Ike.

According to Phil's telling of the story, Ike responded, "Yeah, but it's hard to jump out of a window from a basement floor."

We think Phil needs to focus on how he's going to defend himself during his next trial. Jurors in the first one couldn't reach a verdict, so the judge declared a mistrial.

Little Richard was at the funeral services for Ike Turner, too, and he told folks they need to stop holding things against Ike.

"Even Jesus forgives," he said.

We don't know if some folks will ever forgive a certain Kazakh journalist named Borat, but Sacha Baron Cohen is hanging up the character as well as his other alter ego, Ali G.

The 36-year-old actor-comedian told the British newspaper The Daily Telegraph he's sad about retiring the two characters.

"It is like saying goodbye to a loved one," he said. "It is hard, and the problem with success, although it's fantastic, is that every new person who sees the Borat movie is one less person I 'get' with Borat again, so it's a kind of a self-defeating form, really."

Borat was the title character in the comedy hit "Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan." He was in search of Pamela Anderson and made fools out of a lot of unsuspecting folks in the process.

Are "Gossip Girl" stars Blake Lively and Penn Badgley an item in real life?

You know, we don't know. But N.Y. Daily News' Ben Widdicombe reports that the two are dating, although one insider says nobody's supposed to know.

The two were seen shopping together last week and looking pretty cozy.

Former "Lost" star Michelle Rodriguez is in jail today, serving the third day of a six-month sentence for violating probation.

She reported to what's quickly becoming the jail to the stars, Lynnwood, where Lindsay, Paris and Nicole all served their time.

Michelle has had several DUIs and had been placed on extended probation.

Girl, get yourself together in 2008!
