Fatherhood for Wiz
Congratulations may be in order the next time Pittsburgh sees rapper Wiz Khalifa back in his hometown. He and his fiance, model Amber Rose, reportedly are expecting their first child together.
The pregnancy was revealed Monday by hip-hop gossip website MediaTakeout. A source told Radar Online the pregnancy was unexpected, but the couple is happy to start a family together.
"Amber's already had to make some big lifestyle changes, like not smoking cigarettes anymore," the source said. "As a model she's used to having a thin waist, so this is going to be an adjustment for her."
The Grammy-nominated Khalifa, who turns 25 on Sept. 8, and the 28-year-old Rose announced their engagement in April, and baby buzz has persisted over the past month. Three weeks ago, Khalifa promised fans that "she will have my baby in life, and you guys will know when she's pregnant."
According to the Daily Mail, Rose is due in January and the couple may rush their nuptials for an October wedding.
Khalifa's sophomore album, "O.N.I.F.C.," is due in stores Sept. 18 and features the single "It's Nothin'," a collaboration with 2 Chainz.
Alive and kicking
Rumors of Bill Cosby's death have been greatly exaggerated -- again.
Google Search was on overload this week as fans tried to find out if the 75-year-old comedian had died after an "R.I.P. Bill Cosby" Facebook page popped up. The actor tweeted to his verified Twitter account yesterday without bothering with the hoax.
In 2010, after another report of his death, Cosby called CNN's "Larry King Live" to prove he was alive. "I don't want [whoever spread the rumor] to do this anymore, because this is my fourth time being reported [dead]," he said at the time.
USA Today reported that it was a busy week for hoaxters. The very much alive Bill Nye the Science Guy was reported gone, and rumors of Eddie Murphy's demise also were spreading. Gossip Cop noted that the actor has been "killed" about a dozen times.
Oh, and that Facebook page about Mr. Cosby? It says: "I hope you all have learned your lesson. DON'T RELY ON SOCIAL NETWORKING AS YOUR ONLY NEWS SOURCE."
"Saturday Night Live" has named the first three hosts and musical guests for the NBC show's 38th season:
Seth MacFarlane, the man responsible for "Family Guy," the hit summer comedy "Ted" and a Grammy-nominated album of pop standards, opens the season on Sept. 15 with singer Frank Ocean.
Joseph Gordon-Levitt will host for the second time on Sept. 22, joined by Mumford & Sons, and on Oct. 6, the name will be Bond, James Bond, and by that we mean Daniel Craig, along with the English band Muse.
Lohan's hotel debt
TMZ is reporting that Lindsay Lohan has one Hollywood hangout fewer on her list. The gossip/gotcha website says the Chateau Marmont has told Li-Lo to stay away after she failed to pay the thousands of dollars she owes the famed hotel.
"As you are aware from our previous correspondences starting on July 8, you currently owe the hotel a grand total of $46,350.04 in charges for your stay starting on May 30, 2012," the notice from the hotel's manager reads. "I have enclosed a copy of your most up to date folio for your records."
Charges on the bill include $686 for cigarettes, a $100 Chateau candle and a one-time $386.50 laundry charge on June 23.
