Wilko Johnson, former guitarist for '70s band Dr. Feelgood and current actor on "Game of Thrones," has terminal cancer, his manager has revealed, People reports.

"I am very sad to announce that Wilko has recently been diagnosed with terminal cancer of the pancreas. He has chosen not to receive any chemotherapy," his manager, Robert Hoy, wrote in a post on Johnson's Facebook page Wednesday.

"He is currently in good spirits, is not yet suffering any physical effects and can expect to enjoy at least another few months of reasonable health and activity."

Johnson -- who plays the mute executioner Ser Ilyn Payne on the hit HBO show but is best known to his fans as a musician -- doesn't plan to slow down much in the next couple of months.

"He has just set off on a trip to Japan; on his return we plan to complete a new CD, make a short tour of France, then give a series of farewell gigs in the U.K.," his manager writes.

BBC News was first to report on Wilko's diagnosis.

Are you a dog person or a cat person? The answer to that question isn't just for your online dating profile.

Monopoly is pitting dog and cat lovers against each other in a new contest to eliminate one of its iconic tokens and replace it with a new one, according to People.

Via Facebook, Hasbro, the toy and game company behind the nearly 78-year-old board game, is asking fans to part with one of the die-cast tokens used to represent players -- the Scottie dog, top hat, wheelbarrow, clothes iron, battleship, race car, thimble or shoe.

One token will "go to jail," but fans are invited to vote a brand new piece into its place. Choices are a cat, a diamond ring, a guitar, a toy robot and a helicopter. The winner and loser will be revealed Feb. 6.

Once the votes are tallied, the new version of the board game will be available in "mid to late" 2013, the company predicts.

"The tokens are one of the most iconic parts of the Monopoly game, and we know that people are emotionally tied to their favorite one," Eric Nyman, senior vice president and global brand leader for Hasbro Gaming, said in a statement.

"Fifty Shades of Grey" will soon be slipped under a new set of covers, the Associated Press reports.

E L James' erotic trilogy is being issued in hardcover, the Knopf Doubleday Group said Thursday. The novels were released last spring as paperbacks and e-books and have since sold more than 65 million copies worldwide. The new editions of "Fifty Shades of Grey," "Fifty Shades Darker" and "Fifty Shades Freed" each will have a list price of $26.95 and will be available Jan. 29.
