Katy Perry is in the popular clique now.

The singer-actress won the most People's Choice Awards at Wednesday's 38th annual fan-favorite extravaganza, the Associated Press reports.

Perry was absent from the ceremony, but she was honored in five categories, including favorite female artist, tour headliner, song of the year for "E.T." with Kanye West, music video for "Last Friday Night," and TV guest star for "How I Met Your Mother."

"Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2" followed behind Perry with four wins for favorite movie, action movie, book adaptation and ensemble movie cast.

Johnny Depp and Emma Stone each picked up two trophies.

Stars such as Lea Michele, Ellen DeGeneres and Neil Patrick Harris were on hand at the Nokia Theatre ceremony to accept their awards selected by Internet votes.

Lindsay Lohan is facing a lien for nearly $94,000 that the federal government says she owes in unpaid taxes, the Associated Press reports.

Records in Los Angeles County show the lien was filed Thursday seeking payment for the 2009 tax year.

Celebrity website TMZ first reported the lien Tuesday, the same day a paparazzo sued the model-actress for being in a car that allegedly struck him in Hollywood in January 2010.

Lohan's publicist Steve Honig said the starlet's finances are nobody's business but her own. As for photographer Grigor Balyan 's lawsuit seeking unspecified damages against Lohan, Honig says he hasn't seen the case but accused the paparazzi of invading her privacy daily.

The actress is continuing to serve morgue duty to comply with her probation in a pair of misdemeanor cases.

Less than a week old, and Blue Ivy Carter is already making history, People reports.

The newborn daughter of Beyonce and Jay-Z is officially the youngest person ever to grace the Billboard charts, according to the music magazine.

She is credited as a collaborator on Jay-Z's newly recorded song, "Glory," which the rapper wrote about his daughter - and which is billed as "featuring B.I.C.," an abbreviation of Blue Ivy Carter.

Billboard likens "Glory" to Stevie Wonder 's "Isn't She Lovely," which Wonder wrote about his newborn daughter Aisha back in February 1975. But Aisha wasn't listed on the credits, and the song didn't hit Billboard charts until almost two years later.

The magazine also notes an uncanny coincidence: "Glory" marks Jay-Z's 107th career entry on the Billboard charts, mirroring his daughter's Jan. 7 birthdate.

President Barack Obama might be powerful and well-known, but the White House got some Hollywood star power Wednesday: Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie stopped by for a chat with the chief executive, the Associated Press reports.

The actors were spotted in the Oval Office by photographers waiting outside for the president to take off for a trip to Chicago.

The White House confirmed Pitt and Jolie were in town to screen Jolie's movie about Bosnian war crimes at the Holocaust museum. They dropped by so the president could talk with Jolie about her work on preventing mass atrocities and combating sexual violence against women.

"W.E." is about the romance between American socialite Wallis Simpson and Britain's King Edward VIII , who abdicated the throne for love in the 1930s.

She was joined by the film's British cast - Andrea Riseborough, James d'Arcy, Richard Coyle and Natalie Dormer .

Kim Kardashian is the latest family member to come to her sister's defense after a Star magazine report alleged that Khloe Kardashian Odom is not the biological daughter of late attorney Robert Kardashian .

So just what did the E! reality star have to say when asked about the subject - namely, if Khloe really is just her half-sister?

"Absolutely not!" Kim told E! News as she made her way out of a Beverly Hills hair salon on Wednesday. "Ridiculously false."

Her answer came just hours after family matriarch Kris Jenner insisted the rumor is "stupid" and "silly."

Khloe herself also angrily addressed the speculation earlier in the day via Twitter, calling her father's two former wives "disgusting" for making such a claim.

In addition, E! News obtained a document that reveals Robert Kardashian had stated under oath that he indeed had "four biological children."

Meanwhile, on Wednesday night, Kim was named Favorite TV Celebreality Star at the 2012 People's Choice Awards.

It may not be official just yet, but Kylie Minogue isn't waiting to congratulate her ex and his current girlfriend on their engagement, People reports.

"Congrats to Olivier Martinez and Halle Berry !! #wedding," the Australian pop star, 43, wrote on Twitter.

Minogue and Martinez dated for four years before splitting in 2007. While they were dating, Minogue credited the French actor for helping her through the dark days of her battle against breast cancer.

"He was incredible," she said. "He didn't hesitate in canceling work and putting projects on hold so he could be with me. He's the most honorable man I have ever met."

A rep for jewelry designer Gurhan told People Wednesday that Martinez gave Berry a diamond-and-emerald engagement ring. But neither party has confirmed the couple plan to marry.

CMU grad John Wells , who endowed a directing program at Carnegie Mellon University last year, got a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame Thursday, HollywoodPatch.com reports.

George Clooney , who spent five seasons on "ER" before devoting himself full-time to his movie career, and Allison Janney , a cast member on "The West Wing" throughout its seven-season run, joined Wells in speaking at the ceremony in front of the Hudson Apartments at 6533 Hollywood Blvd. The honor comes five days before the season premiere of the Wells-produced police drama "Southland" on TNT.
