Don't accuse Fred Willard of being humorless: the comic actor is (sort of) speaking out about his recent arrest for allegedly committing a lewd act in an adult movie theater in Hollywood, People reports.
"Wait til u hear my version; much more PG," he tweeted on Monday morning. "& my review, lousy film, but theater would make a terrific racquetball court. Full story 2 follow."
The actor, who was fired by PBS as the voice of "Market Warriors" after the alleged incident, also took to Twitter to promote the ABC improv comedy show "Trust Us With Your Life," which he currently hosts.
"I was not fired from TUWYL," he writes, "so B sure 2 watch."
On July 18, police confirmed that Willard, 72, was arrested, cited and released while police were conducting a routine investigation at the Tiki Theater on Santa Monica Boulevard.
After the alleged incident, Willard's lawyer issued a statement defending him, saying, "Our belief is that Fred did nothing in any violation of any law. We will be working vigorously to clear his name in this matter."
At Sunday night's live "After the Final Rose" special, "The Bachelorette's" Emily Maynard and her new fiance, Jef Holm, couldn't wait to declare their love for each other, People reports.
"I found the perfect man," said Maynard, who became engaged on the show's season 8 finale. Maynard beamed as she clutched Holm's hand. "He's my best friend."
"I love her to death," Holm gushed.
While some viewers were shocked and saddened to see Maynard's tearful goodbye to race car driver Arie Luyendyk on the season finale, host Chris Harrison says it was clear to him that the connection between the North Carolina single mom (and Morgantown, W.Va. native) and Utah entrepreneur Holm was undeniably stronger.
"What really separated Arie and Jef in the end is how Jef made her feel," Harrison said. "How she acted in the end, if you notice, she was a little girl around him. Jef brought out something unique in her. There was something special and unique about them."
Arie appeared on "After the Final Rose" and said he was happy for Emily and Jef.
"I don't want to take anything away from Arie, who is a wonderful man and would have been a great husband," Harrison went on to say. "But she and Jef are so good together. I really think she chose wisely, and I think she chose the right guy."
It appears Cybill Shepherd has found the one!
"The Client List" star, 62, is engaged to jeweler-turned-psychologist Andrei Nikolajevic, she tells New York's Daily News.
Until her recent engagement, Shepherd -- who was formerly married to David Ford and Bruce Oppenheim -- ruled out the possibility of finding a permanent life partner, People reports.
"I never thought I'd get married again," the former "Moonlighting" and "Cybill" star tells the paper, adding that Nicolajevic's proposal was, "Very romantic and on one knee."
Shepherd has three grown children from her previous marriages.
Rascal Flatts bassist Jay DeMarcus and his wife, Allison, have a new addition to the family, People reports.
The couple's second child and first son, Dylan Jay DeMarcus, was born Friday afternoon in Nashville, Tenn.
Dylan weighed 7 pounds, 11 ounces and was 201/2 inches long when born. A news release says mother and child are doing fine. He joins 1-year-old sister Madeline Leigh.
DeMarcus has a little time at home with his family before hitting the road again Friday for St. Louis on the trio's "Changed" tour.
From "Modern Family" to "Family Guy," Sofia Vergara's taking over television, People reports.
The Colombian beauty will play Peter Griffin's fantasy love interest in an upcoming episode, EW exclusively reports.
While daydreaming, Griffin imagines himself as a telenovela star with Vergara voicing his voluptuous lover.
Later in the episode, Vergara lends her voice to another character, a woman selling roses in a restaurant where Quagmire is trying to convince Griffin to do him a big favor.
Vergara will also appear on a hip-hop-themed episode of "The Cleveland Show" on Oct. 7, where she'll play Tia Sofia, a character who tries to talk Cleveland into throwing a quinceanera for Cleveland Jr.'s 15th birthday.
Kanye West, Nicki Minaj, Bruno Mars, will.i.am and ?uestlove also make cameos.
"Family Guy's" star-studded 11th season kicks off Sept. 30 and features appearances by Johnny Depp, Ryan Reynolds, Elizabeth Banks and Kellan Lutz.
Authorities in Los Angeles say they have located Katherine Jackson and that she is safe and with a family member, the Associated Press reports.
Los Angeles Sheriff's Deputy Mark Pope says investigators continue to speak with Jackson's relatives and gather more information about her whereabouts.
A relative reported the Jackson family matriarch missing on Saturday night, but her son Jermaine said Sunday evening she was with his sister Rebbie in Arizona.
Pope says he does not have details on her exact whereabouts and that investigators are working on the case.
Jermaine Jackson wrote in a statement that his mother was following doctor's orders to rest and stay away from the phone.
Katherine Jackson is the guardian of the children of her late son Michael and had not spoken with them in a week.
