A trial date has been set to hear arguments in Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries' divorce.

A judge ruled that their case -- in which Mr. Humphries alleges that Ms. Kardashian committed fraud by never intending to be married -- will go to trial May 6.

"[Mr. Humphries] has had more than adequate time to prepare," L.A. Superior Court Judge Stephen Moloney stated during the Friday hearing, according to People.com.

Neither Ms. Kardashian nor Mr. Humphries was present in court on Friday.

The NBA star's attorney, Marshall Waller -- who had filed papers Thursday to be removed from the case -- has long claimed difficulty in gathering evidence from various entertainment companies that work with Ms. Kardashian.

Ms. Kardashian, whose baby with Kanye West is due in July, has denied Mr. Humphries' claims, saying she's been legally "handcuffed" to him ever since they split.
