Jon Gosselin goes out on the town

While a record number of viewers tuned in to watch "Jon & Kate Plus 8" on Memorial Day, Jon Gosselin spent his holiday sans Kate and his kids.
The dad of eight hit Front Street, a popular waterfront bar in Newburgh, N.Y., with two mystery women for a drink.
"He came in and left with two women," Eonline reports. "They were average-looking, not model-esque. One seemed to be in her 50s; the other was in her mid-20s. None of them were affectionate."
And despite all his recent tabloid covers, locals didn't pay much attention. "Everyone pretty much left him alone as he hung out in the corner by the back entrance," Eonline reports. "I think most people didn't even know who he was."
Kate was snapped yesterday boarding a ferry to Bald Head Island in North Carolina, accompanied by most of the kids and her ever-present bodyguard.
Rihanna is ready, willing and -- as it happens -- required to take the stand against ex-beau Chris Brown at a hearing next month, Eonline reports.
The singer's attorney, Donald Etra, said Rihanna will be called to testify at the June 22 preliminary hearing in Brown's felony assault case.
"The judge advised me that there will be a subpoena for Rihanna as a witness at the preliminary hearing," Etra said following a hearing yesterday. "She will definitely comply."
And she will be doing so while facing her alleged attacker.
"He has to be here anytime a witness is called," Brown's attorney Mark Geragos said, confirming that the R&B star will indeed be present to hear the testimony.
According to Geragos, the prosecution will outline their case against the embattled R&B star. Aside from Rihanna, the D.A. is expected to call the officers who first responded to the scene and found the bloodied and abandoned Rihanna.
At the end of the proceeding, the judge will determine whether there is enough evidence for the case to go to trial.
AT&T insists there was no monkeying with the votes. Fox stands by the results. And now, in the ultimate blow to conspiracy theorists who think Adam Lambert was jobbed, fans have voted with their pocketbooks.
Kris Allen really is the champ.
A week after going head-to-head on the surprising "American Idol" finale, the two singers' battle spilled over to the charts, with Allen's rendition of the Kara DioGuardi-penned victory single "No Boundaries" handily trumping Lambert's, Eonline reports.
Allen's rendition, one of five songs the newly crowned Idol placed in Billboard's Hot 100, debuted at No. 11 with 134,000 downloads. Lambert's version fell short selling 36,000 copies at No. 72.
Los Angeles police say they arrested Tom Sizemore on a warrant issued on a court case in Central California.
Officer Norma Eisenman says officers arrested Sizemore and another man after coming across them while responding to an unrelated call early yesterday morning. Sizemore was arrested for an outstanding warrant issued in Bakersfield on a drug case from 2007, the Associated Press reports.
Eisenman says another man who was with Sizemore was arrested on a drug possession charge, but that Sizemore was only booked on the warrant. Jail records show he has been released.
Court records in Bakersfield show that Sizemore's probation was revoked by a judge in April.
The upcoming Broadway revival of "Bye Bye Birdie" has found its teen idol -- Nickelodeon's young heartthrob Nolan Gerard Funk.
Funk will portray rock 'n' roll superstar Conrad Birdie in the Roundabout Theatre Company production which opens Oct. 15 at Henry Miller's Theatre. Previews begin Sept. 10, the Associated Press reports.
The Vancouver-born performer starred in Nickelodeon's hit tween musical "Spectacular!" His other credits include the feature "X-Men 2," the miniseries "Taken" and the CW's "Smallville."
"Bye Bye Birdie" concerns an Elvis Presley-like singer who is being drafted into the Army and the effect his departure has on the teenagers in a small Ohio town.
John Stamos will play the star's manager, Albert Peterson, and Gina Gershon will portray the manager's long-suffering secretary.
