Two poets, fiction writer featured at Chatham University reading

Two poets and a fiction writer give a free reading at 8 p.m. Friday at the Chatham University campus on Woodland Road in Shadyside.

The event is hosted by the school's creative writing program and Autumn House Press, a local nonprofit.

Ruth L. Schwartz's new collection of poems, "Miraculum," was published by Autumn House Press.

Brian Bodeur's "Natural Causes" won the 2012 Autumn House Poetry Prize.

Sharma Shields' collection of stories, "Favorite Monster," won the 2012 Autumn House Fiction Prize.

The writers will appear in the Welker Room of James Laughlin Music Hall, located on Woodland Road.

Parking is available in Chatham University's library lot, near Murray Hill Avenue.
