Ten more Pittsburgh artists have been awarded the venerable designation Master Visual Artist, joining 50 previous honorees. Biographies and videos documenting their life and work are archived at the Senator John Heinz History Center. The 2013 artists are Tado Arimoto, Tina Williams Brewer, Gary Jurysta, David Lewis, Constance Merriman, Rise Nagin, Chuck Olson, Mark Perrott, Marjorie F. Shipe and Paul Zelevansky. An exhibition of their works, "Master Visual Artists VI: Preserving the Legacy," will open at Pittsburgh Center for the Arts in September.
