The Steelers said today they have signed a fourth-round draft pick, safety Shamarko Thomas. Terms of the four-year contract were not disclosed.
Thomas (5-9, 217), was the 111th overall pick and the first of the team's two fourth round picks in this year's draft. He played college football at Syracuse and was a consensus All-Big East first-team selection in his final season.
