Holmgren goes out a winner
Cleveland Browns president Mike Holmgren is leaving the organization immediately.
After Cleveland's 20-14 victory Sunday against the rival Steelers, a Browns spokesperson said the game was Holmgren's last with the team. Holmgren, 64, a former NFL coach, had hoped to stay until the end of the season in an advisory role, but left open the possibility of an earlier departure. He was replaced by new owner Jimmy Haslam, a former Steelers minority owner. Holmgren is expected to address the media today. He has indicated he's still interested in coaching.
