To "Monday Night Football," Pittsburgh is No. 2 this season.
The Steelers' hometown audience scored the second-highest rating of any of the ABC game broadcasts so far this season. The Steelers-Titans telecast had a 12.3 rating and 19 share nationally in the overnights, whose numbers normally fall a couple of percentage points when the all the Nielsen data gets shaken out by midweek. The ratings slipped toward the end of the 34-7 blowout, likely because it became obvious to viewers the game would be a romp.
The broadcast's first half-hour scored an 11.4, the second a 12.9. It peaked in the third half-hour, just before halftime, at 13.9, and slipped in succeeding half-hours to 11.3, 10.1 and 8.6.
The "Monday Night Football" telecast gave ABC a prime-time victory over CBS (10.4), NBC (7.5) and Fox (7.4).
