Jack Ham has always been a class act on and off the field. I loved him at Penn State, have met him at social events ( Ducks Unlimited, etc.) and watched many 100 percent efforts,,,,all with class. He had no excuses...just heart and work. Oh yea...he treated kids special also.

Just plain awesome! Always acted like he had been there before and done that. Team oriented and never gave up. Lambert was the showman but Jack was the real LINEBACKER!

Favorite Steeler of all time is Jack Ham. He was the best all-around, linebacker ever to play the game. No one ever got the corner on him and teams were rarely successful running inside of him. Also, unlike a lot of today's pin-your-ears-back pass rush specialists, Ham could cover a tight end or a back in pass coverage. Low-key, do-your-job and, as our best COACH of all time used to say, when he got done he acted like he'd done it before and expected to do it again. No jumping up and down and getting flagged for taunting or unsportsmanlike conduct. He did all of the intimidating he needed to do between the whistles, not after them.

My favorite Steeler of all time is Jack Ham…He combined intellect, raw ability and a quiet professional skill set with the best tackling and angles of pursuit I have ever seen.
