The Steelers have hired James Saxon as their new running backs coach, replacing Kirby Wilson.

Saxon merely switches places with Wilson, who is joining the Minnesota Vikings staff. Saxon was the Vikings' RB coach the past three seasons.

Saxon was a fullback who played eight years with three NFL teams -- Kansas City, Miami and Philadelphia.
