Q: Ed, if Bill Cowher gets a new head coaching job next year, should the Steelers expect to lose coaching staff? If so, who would be most likely to leave?

Arun Manoharan, Wayne, Pa.

BOUCHETTE: Let's assume he does get a job, although I'm not convinced he's ready to return. I'm sure there were a few coaches, especially on defense, that he'd like to hire, such as Dick LeBeau, Keith Butler, John Mitchell and Ray Horton. Butler and Horton would probably like to become defensive coordinators. I would venture that LeBeau and Mitchell, who has been with the Steelers since 1994 and is now assistant head coach, would like to remain with the Steelers. Either way, I would not foresee a wholesale raid on their staff, no.
