J.: Should we expect any changes on defense after that awful Indiana game?

Mark Dent: Yes I would say so. O'Brien discussed this saying there might be a few different faces. But reasonably PSU is so short on depth on D that I can't see too much of a difference.

J.: Do you feel as though this Michigan matchup might end up being a shootout? Think it's pretty fair to say Michigan's defense can be pretty terrible

Mark Dent: Absolutely. I see upper 20s or 30s for both

Mark Dent: If PSU can crack the decent rushing D of Michigan especially

Mark Dent: And I see that happening. I think PSU can bounce back

J.: Say they lose to Michigan. The schedule doesn't get any easier with Ohio State, Wisconsin ahead. Still think they'll finish with that 9-3 record?

Mark Dent: Ha. My 9-3 is way out the window if they lose to UM. I see losses at Ohio State and Wisconsin for sure. The rest of the games are winnable. This UM game will determine a lot IMHO

J.: Score prediction for the game?

Mark Dent: Haven't totally thought it through yet, but I'll say 34-27 PSU. I just have such little faith in UM and think the crowd will make a real difference.

J.: You have more faith than I do (PSU grad in Indiana...clearly still bitter). Hope you're right. Have fun in that white out atmosphere, wish I could be there

Mark Dent: Thanks. That was definitely a bad loss. I just look at the Big 10 aside from OSU and see average. When two average teams meet, anything can happen

Mark Dent: Well that'll do it. Thanks J.
