Q: With all the stuff swirling around Penn State, can you believe the Nittany Lions are actually playing for the division title and the Big Ten championship game Saturday?
Larry Zierzen, Ford City
MUSSELMAN: It is pretty amazing, given the ugly child abuse sex scandal involving former defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky that has surfaced the past two weeks, costing Joe Paterno his job, along with other top officials. But you are right, Penn State can clinch the Leaders Division title and a berth in the inaugural Big Ten championship game with a win at Wisconsin Saturday. But the Lions are at least two-touchdown underdogs according to Las Vegas oddsmakers and will be long-shots to post a victory in Madison, even though they won there 48-7 on their most recent trip in 2008.
