The Pirates set their Opening Day roster and announced their lineup for their 1:35 p.m. game Monday against the Chicago Cubs.

The Pirates placed infielder Brandon Inge and pitchers Jeff Karstens, Charlie Morton and Francisco Liriano on the 15-day disabled list this afternoon. The moves, which were all expected, bring the Pirates' roster to 25 players.

Inge, who was hit by a pitch on his right shoulder March 14, was placed on the disabled list retroactive to March 26. Karstens (right shoulder inflammation), Morton (Tommy John surgery) and Liriano (broken right humerus) were placed on the disabled list retroactive to March 22.

By placing Morton and Liriano on the 15-day disabled list -- and not the 60-day disabled list -- the Pirates are hopeful both will be ready for major league action by June 1. But the Pirates still have the option to move either player to the 60-day disabled list at a later date.

Here are the tentative opening lineups for Monday:

3. Andrew McCutchen (cf)

7. Russell Martin (c)

8. Clint Barmes (ss)

9. A.J. Burnett (rhp)
