The Penguins have re-signed center Zach Sill to a one-year contract.

The deal is worth $550,000 if he plays in the NHL and less if Sill is with their American Hockey League affiliate in Wilkes-Barre.

Sill, 26, made his NHL debut last season, appearing in 20 games with the Penguins. He did not record a point, but killed penalties and averaged nearly three hits per game.
