Pat Brisson, the agent for Sidney Crosby and other prominent NHL players, said by email today that he has not pursued the Penguins' general manager position.

Brisson, a long-time friend of Penguins owner Mario Lemieux, indicated that he is happy to continue representing players for Creative Arts Agency, or CAA.

The Penguins on Friday fired Ray Shero as GM. Brisson had been considered a potential candidate.
