Penguins' Neal named No. 3 star of the week

NEWARK, N.J. -- Penguins right winger James Neal has been named the NHL's No. 3 star for the week that ended Sunday.

Chicago left winger Patrick Sharp was the No. 1 star and Buffalo goalie Ryan Miller was No. 2.

Neal had a league-high eight points, with four goals and four assists, all coming in the past two games.

That includes his fourth career hat trick and first five-point game during the Penguins' 5-3 victory Sunday in Columbus.

Sharp had a league-best six goals and Miller went 2-0-1, with a 1.55 goals-against average and .961 save percentage.
