Malkin named NHL's No. 2 star for November

UNIONDALE, N.Y. -- Penguins center Evgeni Malkin has been named the NHL’s No. 2 star for November.

He had at least one point in 14 of the Penguins’ 15 games, putting up four goals and 21 assists.

He leads the NHL with 28 assists and has 35 points, one fewer than teammate Sidney Crosby, who leads the league.

Chicago’s Patrick Kane is the league’s No. 1 star and Chicago goalie Josh Harding is No. 3.
