Penguins reduce training camp roster to 35

The Penguins have assigned eight players to their farm team in Wilkes-Barre, reducing their training camp roster to 35.

Forwards Nick Drazenovic, Pierre-Luc Letourneau-Leblond, Steve MacIntyre, Jayson Megna and Adam Payerl and defensemen Scott Harrington, Philip Samuelsson and Brendan Mikkelson were sent to the Baby Penguins.

Drazenovic, MacIntyre and Mikkelson are on waivers and must clear at noon on Monday before they can report to Wilkes-Barre.

Coach Dan Bylsma said that additional cuts will be made Monday.
