Injured center Sidney Crosby was released from the hospital Monday and returned to his home, Penguins coach Dan Bylsma said today.

Crosby got a broken jaw that had to be surgically repaired, along with extensive damage to his teeth, when he was struck by a puck early in the Penguins' 2-0 victory against the New York Islanders at Consol Energy Center last Saturday.

There is no word on whether Crosby might be able to resume working out.
