Penguins center Mark Letestu will return to the lineup tonight against Philadelphia at Consol Energy Center, coach Dan Bylsma said after the team's morning skate.

Letestu, who missed the past five games because of what is believed was a shoulder injury, will resume his role centering wingers James Neal and Alex Kovalev.

Fellow center Dustin Jeffrey remains out because of a right knee injury. Bylsma said Jeffrey had an MRI Monday that showed damage in the knee but that Jeffrey will be further evaluated before any course of medical laction will be taken.

Also today, the Penguins reassigned rookie goaltender Brad Thiessen to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League, a sign that backup goalie Brent Johnson is ready to dress tonight.

Johnson has missed the past three games with a minor injury believed to involve his neck.

More details in tomorrow's Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
