From left, Samantha Morgan, 17; Mekenzie Saban, 15; and Samantha Stromberg, 10, of North Side, show off their deer.
For consecutive years, two sisters from the North Side's Observatory Hill have shown the guys how it's done, and this year they brought in their 10-year-old cousin.
Samantha Morgan, 17, dropped her sixth buck, an eight point, in its tracks using a .30-06. Her sister Mekenzie Saban, 15, hunting with her step-father Kevin Morgan, downed her fourth buck with one shot from a .270. Samantha Stromberg, hunting with her step-dad Tim Morgan under the state's Mentored Youth program, took her first deer, a half-rack spike, using a .243. The deer were shot in Venango County near Polk.
