1997 - Won Los Angeles Marathon. Set world record in 5-mile run, 25:08.

	Lornah is frustrated after finishing second in the Port Elizabeth race. One thing Lornah hasn't mastered during her climb to the top is feeling good when she doesn't finish first.

1998 - Won Los Angeles Marathon again.

1999 - Won Amsterdam Marathon.

2000 - Set world record in half marathon, 1:06:56. Set personal best in Chicago Marathon, finishing second, 2:22:36. Won 12 road races, all in course record or personal best times.

2001 - Set world record at 20 kilometers, 1:03:54.

2002 - Won Osaka Marathon, 2:23:55.
