The top high school boys and girls bowlers in Pennsylvania will come to town Friday and Saturday to compete for individual and team championships.
Approximately 75 teams will compete at AMF Mt. Lebanon Lanes with the finals Sunday.
The singles event will be at Playmor Bowl Friday and Saturday, with the finals Saturday night
The 800 Club
Rick Brunori's 287 high game and 821 three-game series was the headliner in the Coors Light League at New Great Valley Lanes.

Sam LaGamba rolled his second sanctioned 300 and his highest three-game series with a 745 in the Wednesday Night Men's League at Forward Lanes. LaGamba, a righthander from Lawrenceville who averages 211, had games of 209, 300 and 236.
The tournament trail
David Jarasiewicz and Stephanie Stroz had a 1,542 total to earn $800 by winning the Great Pittsburgh Mixed Doubles handicap tournament at North Versailles Bowling Center. Rebecca Smith and Woody Smith finished second at 1,477 and Jean Maria Pompilio and John Frisoli Jr. were third at 1,452.
Chris Kasten defeated Bill Scheiwer, 198-167, to win Week 18 of the Miller Lite Head-to-Head tournament at AMF Mt. Lebanon Lanes. The tournament continues at 8:15 tonight.
John Wynkoop defeated Bill Belajac, 258-208, in the final to win Week 17 of the Miller Lite Head-to-Head tournament at AMF Mt. Lebanon Lanes.
Frank Piraino picked up $600 by winning a scratch singles event sponsored by the Pittsburgh Bowlers Tour at Nesbit's Lanes.
Dave Adams defeated Jeff Campbell, 224-199, in the final to win the weekly head-to-head tournament at All American Lanes in Steubenville, Ohio. Adams averaged 204. The strike-pot has grown to $3,980.

Frank Dodds had a 278/769 in the Coors Light Players League at AMF Mt. Lebanon Lanes.
Pete DiCecco put together games of 259, 244 and 267 for a 770 series for the Odd Balls at North Versailles Bowling Center.
Bob Garvin threw a 279/785 for Paulie's Pub to lead the way at Lokay Lanes.
Jim Cillo's 278/758 hogged the spotlight in the Wednesday Classic League at Pines Plaza Lanes.
Brian Beighley took honors with a 279/752 in the Allegheny Valley Tavern/Businessmen League at Nesbit's Lanes.
Ray Klapkowski tossed a 288/770 in the Thursday Men's Classic at Princess Lanes.
The honor roll
Pete Weber, 40, a righthander from St. Ann., Mo., was voted the Bowling Writers Association of America Bowler of the Month for February. He won his 29th career Professional Bowlers Association (PBA) title at the Tar Heel Open and finished third at the U.S. Open and fifth at the Days Inn Open. U.S. Open champion Walter Ray Williams Jr. was runner-up for the second consecutive month.
What's happening
The Swissvale Arcade Lanes will play host to the Jack Laird Memorial 3-6-9 tournament today, with squad times at 1:15 p.m., 2:45 p.m. and 4:15 p.m. First place is $500 based on 100 entries. The Pittsburgh Bowlers Tour will sponsor a handicap doubles tournament today at Freeway Lanes, with $1,000 for first place and $38 entry fee. There will be a scratch singles tournament next Sunday at Coral Lanes, with $1,000 to the winner and $40 entry fee.
The Pittsburgh Women's Bowling Association will sponsor its championship tournament at Playmor Bowl, May 9-10-11 and 16-17-18, with singles, doubles and team competition. Entry fee is $17 per event. Forms can be picked up at district bowling centers. For more information, call 412-823-2118.
