Arnold Palmer has successful heart surgery

Golfing legend Arnold Palmer had "successful" surgery today in Pittsburgh to implant a pacemaker to correct an abnormal heartbeat, according to his website.

Palmer, 84, is to remain in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital tonight for observation and is expected to be released Tuesday, the website said.
