The Best

ATTENDANCE: Every seat wasn't filled but it was an energetic group, a stark contrast from the sparser semifinal crowds.

ENTERTAINMENT VALUE: Much like the NCAA men's basketball final, this was a well-played game on the biggest stage.

JEFF MALCOLM: The game could have been much higher-scoring, but Yale's goalie made his share of spectacular saves in facing 36 shots.p>

The Worst

POWER PLAY: While there was good defense, both failed to take proper advantage to even get good looks on net.

ROUGH PLAY: Several times, Quinnipiac players ran hard into Malcolm. Even if it was incidental, it was a bit excessive.

QUINNIPIAC DEFENSE: What was a strength for the Bobcats throughout the season fell apart for them late, as Yale got three third-period goals to turn a close game into a rout.
