Duquesne basketball coach Jim Ferry has been linked to the vacant Hofstra University job by multiple Internet reports.

Ferry, however, today denied reports that he talked to Hofstra officials this weekend at the Final Four and said he isn't interested in the Hofstra job.

"I haven't interviewed with anyone or even talked to anyone from Hofstra," Ferry said when asked about the reports. "I have no idea where this is coming from."

Duquesne athletic director Greg Amodio said he spoke to Ferry about the subject and is sure the reports of him talking to Hofstra are not true.
