Pitt to name new assistant men's basketball coach



Pitt coach Jamie Dixon is expected to name University of Massachusetts assistant Marlin "Smoke" Williamson to his staff according to multiple sources as well as published reports.

Williamson, who changed his Twitter bio to "University of Pittsburgh Asst. Men's Basketball Coach" Tuesday, played at Youngstown State from 1999-2003 and prior to getting into college coaching was an AAU coach in Detroit with a program called "The Family."
