Cardinal Wuerl North Catholic vs. Clarion PIAA semifinal game postponed

 Cardinal Wuerl North Catholic will play Clarion at noon today in the PIAA Class A semifinals at DuBois High School.

The game, originally schedule for Friday night, was postponed because of inclement weather, according to by Jim Manners, chairman of PIAA District 9.

Forecast had called for significant amounts of snow during the day Friday.

"People have to travel a pretty good ways and we don't want to have them traveling in that weather," Manners said.

The Class AAA semifinal between Erie Cathedral Prep and Harrisburg Bishop McDevitt also was rescheduled for today. It will be played at 5 p.m. at DuBois. It originally was to be played Friday night in Clearfield.
