Penguins call up two from minors

NEWARK, N.J. -- In their continuing pipeline with their American Hockey League affiliate, the Penguins have promoted winger Paul Bissonnette and center Dustin Jeffrey from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.

Both participated in the team's morning skate at Prudential Center in advance of tonight's game against the New Jersey Devils.

Bissonnette began the sesaon with the Penguins, getting no points in six games. Jeffrey has not played in an NHL game.

Earlier in the week, forwards Ryan Stone, Jeff Taffe and Tim Wallace were reassigned to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.
