Singer and movie star Bing Crosby was part owner of the Pittsburgh Pirates from 1946 until his death in 1977. A rare kinescope recording of the final game of the 1960 World Series game was found recently in Crosby's wine cellar. The Pirates defeated the New York Yankees in that contest. It's considered the best baseball game ever played.
