Guests enjoyed impressive views from the hilltop terrace of the Pittsburgh Field Club during an Evening of Hope to benefit Girls Hope Wednesday evening. The organization supports academically motivated girls in need by providing family-like homes to help them reach their full academic potential through the college years. Co-founder Sister Donna Tahaney mingled with event chairs Trudy Ward (with Bob) and Charlie Ferrara (with Jackie) as they made their way among nearly 250 guests. Currently seven girls are in college. Among those donating to the wish list, which included heat and water for the house, paper towels and other everyday items, were board chair Mark Sherwin, director Tom Wiese, Lee Hurwitz, Joe Kelley, Steve and Sara Leone, Chris McCarthy, Amit and Beth Grover, Dennis Cestra Jr. and Rosie Welsh.
