Pennsylvania State police charged an Indiana County bar owner and a 19-year-old bartender Aug. 8 with illegally serving three minors shortly before they fatally crashed a pickup into a pond.

Police say 20-year-old Sean Titus, 19-year-old Zane McMillen and 18-year-old Cody Douglas, all of Kittanning, drank at the Final Score Saloon in Rural Valley shortly before the pickup Titus was driving crashed May 5.

The owner, Larry Pompelia, 58, was previously charged with doctoring surveillance footage and sales records in order to avoid blame. Now police say he sat and watched while bartender Kristin Fisher, of Cowanshannock, served the men.

Another bartender on duty that night had previously been charged with serving the men, too.

Mr. Pompelia declined comment Thursday. Court records don't list attorneys for the bartenders, who couldn't be located for comment.
