A landslide in a construction area has closed a section of Route 28 in both directions for what PennDOT estimates will be three weeks.
Route 28 in Boggs, Armstrong County, is closed between Hoover Road and Route 1018 (Baum Pump Station Road).
PennDOT estimates the roadway will reopen by the end of the day June 21.
Meantime, the posted detours take drivers off Route 28 in West Kittanning and New Bethlehem.mobilehome - breaking - region
