Clearer skies and a pre-dawn chill are expected tonight across southwestern Pennsylvania, northern West Virginia and southeastern Ohio.
The National Weather Service in Pittsburgh has issued a frost advisory from 3 to 9 a.m. Friday for Allegheny, Beaver, Washington, Greene and western portions of Fayette and Westmoreland counties. The advisory area extends into the nearby states.
Rain showers this evening across the region will give way to partly cloudy skies after midnight. Areas of frost are expected in the early morning; residents should take precautions to protect sensitive plants.
Sunny conditions will then take over. Highs are expected to reach 60 with light winds.
