A second worker injured in an accident at a natural gas operation in West Virginia has died.
The Tyler County, W.Va., sheriff's office said Raymond Miller, 43, of Jeannette died Monday at West Penn Hospital's Burn Center in Pittsburgh.
Mr. Miller was one of three workers injured in Thursday's explosion at a Eureka Hunter Pipeline operation near Wick, W.Va. Bruce Phipps, 56, of Marietta, Ohio, died Friday night. The sheriff's office said it had no information on the third worker.
Authorities have said the workers were injured in an explosion at a compressor station. But Eureka's parent, Magnum Hunter Resources, has said it was a flash fire at a "pig receiving station." Pigs are devices used to clean out or to inspect pipelines.
Magnum said the workers were employed by contractors.
