An accused Ohio sex offender was arrested today in Washington, Pa., by the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force of Western Pennsylvania, according to a press release.
Randy Albertson, 37, who last lived in New Vienna, Ohio, was wanted on a Clinton County, Ohio, warrant issued June 12, charging him with five counts each of gross sexual imposition and endangering the welfare of children.
He fled Ohio before the warrant was issued and was never arrested in this case, authorities said.
Mr. Albertson was arrested without incident around 10:30 a.m. on Wheeling Street in Washington, Pa., authorities said, and is being held without bond at the Washington County Correctional Facility pending extradition to Clinton County.
