High school students -- and their parents -- in search of a bargain on formal attire should find some deals April 28 at the Project Prom Shop.
Allegheny County's Department of Human Services will sponsor a sale of formal dresses 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the third floor of Century III Mall.
The dresses, priced at $25 or less, have been cleaned and are undamaged. They have been donated by both stores and individuals.
All proceeds will go towards the purchase of tuxedo gift cards and dresses in hard-to-find sizes.
Project Prom, which began in 2003, has provided hundreds of eligible high school girls the opportunity to choose free formal attire.
More information about Project Prom is at www.alleghenycounty.us/dhs/projectprom.aspx.
