Q: What was working so well for Gerrit Cole?
A: He had all four of his pitches working for him today, mixing in some breaking balls for strikes, using the changeup off the fastball a little bit. When he's throwing anywhere from 96 [mph] to 99, that's going to be a tough at-bat.
Q: How did you guys manage to get to Lance Lynn?
A: Just stringing good ABs together and probably just taking advantage of some mistakes that he threw out there. ... Some big ABs by Pedro and Marlon in the middle of our order. ... You've just got to try to not swing at balls and swing at strikes. I felt like we did that for the most part.
Q: How significant is it to flip home-field advantage in the series?
A: Our crowd that one game was unbelievable, and I expect the same when we go out there. It's definitely going to be a tough place to play through the postseason for opposing teams. I'm excited. It's going to be fun to bring the energy back to the 'Burgh.
